Description

TITLE: KITTEN Dancer VERSION: 1.0 AUTHOR: Masked Marauder DATE: November 16, 2010 UPDATED: November 19, 2010 GAME: Grand Theft Auto: Vice City ACKNOWLEDGMENT: This mod is made with character models and textures from a mod made for a completely different game by an author who goes by the name "Growlf" who states in his mod readmes that his work may be used freely as long as proper credit is given. Many thanks to Growlf for his excellent work and generous permission! Nevertheless, a specific request has been sent to him via an online forum but has, as of yet, gone unanswered. UPDATE 11-18-10: I have received official confirmation of approval from the original author! "KITTEN 1.0 Dancer Manual" INCLUDES: Stripper A model and textures. INSTALLATION: Use IMG Tool or an equivalent to extract these files from your gta.img archive and store them in a safe place for a backup: Stripa.dff Stripa.txd Once you have done that replace the files in the archive with the ones with the same names that came with this mod. Just be careful not to make any mistakes. "KITTEN 1.0 Dancer Manual" puts KITTEN to work at the Pole Position Club. She replaces Stripper A, the one who does the cut scene pole dance. Yes, some of her clothes fell off! So if your Mommy, or your Daddy, or your wife, or your girlfriend, or your babysitter, or all of the above bust into the room and scrub your eyes with turpentine for watching mostly nude computer graphics then that's your mess. Unfortunately(?) the game developers replaced the bartender at the Malibu Club with the same character after you purchase it so... don't be shocked. Because of the large difference in file size it would probably be a good idea to rebuild the archive after the files have been changed as a precaution against crashing! Better safe than sorry. I did my absolute best to eliminate as much ugliness as possible in the mesh, but I can only do so much. Even though the mesh is much more detailed than the game defaults there are still the same number of bones to group the vertices in so... there you have it. I believe that I have already gained a better grasp of how the vertices should be grouped to eliminate some of the distortion but I'm not ready to go back there yet, again... not for a while anyway. PERMISSIONS: If you wish to use KITTEN for your own mod you would have to get permission from the original author like I have done. I contacted him through a website forum and I have no email address for him. CONTACT: [email protected] Pet the Kitty nice now... MM
